Two Days After the Fact

Two days after Christmas.

We miss our family. 

A lot.

It's like an unspoken look we give each other. 

We miss our family.

All of them.

I miss my sister, Cierra a lot.

And I miss all of my brother and sister-in-laws. 

And I miss my father and mother-in-law.
My mom and dad. 

I guess that's just part of being married to a Marine.

It's just one of the sacrifices.

Missing our loved ones.

We love and miss you all dearly.

Being Married Young

I am not sure how I came about this page. But I was reading. And I laughed.

It states,

Reminders

I am not old. 

Just to clarify. 

Yet I have a reminder set on my phone to eat my yogurt. 

And to feed my dog. 

I am such a horrible person to have to be reminded to feed my dog. lol.

At least I remember to feed my husband! :P

Seven Days

Seven days until Christmas. 

Boy have I been busy!  

With T of course. 

We finally got our tree in the mail. 

Woot! 

I just love CHristmas. 

If that is sparkling to you, how totally cool is THAT! :P

Anyways, basically since the last time I posted, we have wrapped presents. Sent them off. Put some under the tree. 

Acted dumb together. And So much more! :D 

This was an ornament from Tony's parents for our first Christmas together last year! :D

So, Tradition. As it seems. Pizza and putting up our tree. Woohoo! :D <3

So, we had a little photo session. Lol. Yeah, we are dorks, and we dooo nnoooot care. I can't even begin to explain how much I love this man, my best friend! (: 

Everything I've ever wanted. And I'm so so so lucky to get to spend my Christmas with him.

 This was what I did so we could sleep underneath our tree. It took forever but in the end it was well worth it. I can't say that I don't love Christmas. Because I definitely do! :P

All in all, I think we have made most of our Christmas, so far away from our families. 

I guess that's a part of growing up. 

Going away. 

But we keep our families in our hearts.

The Perks of being a Woman

It's so bothersome.

My nails.

My hair.

My makeup. (Which I barely wear)

Oh, and don't forget about the weight issue.

If I want to do my nails, I better have at least an hour to sit still and not fidget or move my hands. 

If I want to do my hair. As in curl it. (since my hair is already super straight.)

I better have at least two hours.

I don't even want to bother with my makeup.

This morning I woke happy. So I decided to Curl my hair.......so now it's half straight, half curled. 

My nails.....well....i'm being VERY careful typing right now. But hey, the whole, 'sticking your nails in ice water will instantly dry them? No. It just SEEMS like it dries them. Don't believe the hype. 

Anyways, End Rant. :P

My Marine And More

To get started, January, 2013, was a tough month for me. 

My husband, after only being married about 6 months, left for bootcamp. January 21st. 

Scary.

Super scary.

3 months. 

One of his friends captured this photo I do believe.

I got the letters, though. So full of love and want. But also of exhaustion, and pain. 

But we made it through. 

We made sure to. <3

His letters to me. I kept them in a cool little box. I'm trying to make a scrap book full of them. <3

Family Day. Next to my wedding day. Best. Day. Ever. :P
Did I mention the fact that he is 6'5 and I'm 5'4.... :D

Then, in July, we were accepted for on base housing, so guess what ya'll. 

I, Kacy, moved to the desert. To be with my true love of course! But I was in for a very rude awakening.

That awakening included miles, upon miles, UPON miles of desert. I couldn't decide if it was gorgeous or just downright depressing.

 [[Now if you asked me I would say gorgeous, and that i didn't want to leave :P]]

I was once again reunited with my love!! 

Then, we added a family member! 

His name is Sammy. He is big. And we LOVE him! Such a good dog!

Now we go through the common things in life. Finding joy in the little things

as my mother in law likes to call it. 

And thats just what we do. :D

Our Beginning

First. T and I were best friends. Inseparable. 

Then, T asked me asked me to marry him. Which of course I said yes to.

Best. Day. Ever.

We had so much fun. And hey, we still do!! 

This is fromt the day after we were engaged. 

This was one year later! :)

My goodness this boy is just gorgeous!
